Paramount Group files plans for $11.8M single-floor office rehab near Times Square

Paramount Group, on July 14, filed plans for an $11.8 million rehabilitation of one floor of the Paramount Plaza building at 1633 Broadway in Midtown West, north of Times Square.

The plans call for work on the 18th floor of the 709-foot-tall, 48-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00539706.

The project is described in the filing as: Minor demolition with installation of new partitions, doors, suspended ceilings and finishes on the cellar and 18th floors as per plans. No change to use, egress or occupancy.

The architect listed is Loffredo Brooks Architects P.C.

New Mountain Capital signed a lease for the top two floors of the building, which span 108,374-square-feet, in 2019. According to reports, the lease brought the 2.5 million square foot office to 100 percent leased.
