Parametric Development Group files plans for nine-unit resi building in Tribeca
Parametric Development Group, on June 29, filed a permit application for construction of a nine-unit, 20,301-square-foot building at 14 White Street in Tribeca, Manhattan. Frank LePera, a partner with Parametric, filed the plans.
The plans call for the construction of an 83-foot-tall, seven-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00530595. The development site spans one tax lot.
The project is described in the filing as: Construction of a new residential structure.
The scope of work in the plans indicates the building will only have five dwelling units, however.
According to the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a residential lobby and retail space. Floors two through five will each have one dwelling unit per floor, while a duplex unit will span floors six and seven.
The architect listed is JFG Architects.
David Ruff, who is a founding partner of Parametric Development Group and NAVA, originally filed plans for the building in 2015. However, those plans were disapproved by the DOB.
These are only the fourth new building plans filed in the neighborhood over the last two years for a building 20,000 square feet or larger, per a PincusCo analysis. The largest plans over the period were filed on June 4, 2020, by the Laboz family’s United American Land. Those plans called for the construction of a 76-unit, 70,336-square-foot mixed-use building at 317 Broadway in Tribeca.
