Oxford, Canadian fund file plans for $4.7M project at Google campus in Soho

Oxford Properties Group and the Canadian Pension Plan Investment Board, on September 21, filed plans for $4.7 million of work on one floor at 550 Washington Street in Soho, Manhattan.

The plans are part of the redevelopment of St. John’s Terminal as part of Google’s Hudson Square campus. Google announced last week that it would buy the building for $2.1 billion. According to reports, the largest American office deal since 2018, and one of the largest in history.

A couple of weeks ago the developer filed plans for $6.7 million of work on the 11th floor of the building.

So far this year there have been plans filed for a total of over $246 million at the building, according to a PincusCo analysis.

The plans call for work on the second floor of the 232-foot-tall, 12-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00570574.

The project is described in the filing as: General construction modifications taking place on the second floor as per plans filed herewith. No change in use, egress or occupancy

The architect listed is Cooper Carry Architects New York.
