Oxford, Canadian fund file plans for $10.6M of work on terraces at Google campus in Soho
Oxford Properties Group and the Canadian Pension Plan Investment Board, on December 10, filed plans for two alteration projects totaling $10.6 million of work on two terraces at 550 Washington Street in Soho, Manhattan.
The plans are part of the redevelopment of St. John’s Terminal as part of Google’s Hudson Square campus. Google announced in September that it would buy the building for $2.1 billion. According to reports, it will be the largest American office deal since 2018, and one of the largest in history.
The first plans call for $6.5 million of work on the 12th floor terrace of the 232-foot-tall, 12-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00615751.
The project is described in the filing as: General construction and structural modifications taking place on the 12th floor terrace as per plans filed herewith. No change in use, egress or occupancy.

The second plans call for $4.1 million of work on the 11th floor terrace of the 232-foot-tall, 12-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00615745.
The project is described in the filing as: General construction and structural modifications taking place on the 11th floor terrace as per plans filed herewith. No change in use, egress or occupancy.
