City files plans for $8.9M exterior rehab of Arverne school

New York City School Construction Authority, on December 10, filed plans for an $8.9 million rehabilitation of a building’s exterior at 488 Beach 66th Street in Arverne, Queens.

The plans call for work on the outside of the 65-foot-tall, six-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number Q00642603.

The project is described in the filing as: Selective face brick replacement at Exterior Masonry and Parapets; selective repairs; window replacement.

The architect listed is Nelligan White Architects, PLLC.

The New York City School Construction Authority, on December 1, filed plans for a $22.9 million rehabilitation of the exterior of a school building at 1260 Franklin Avenue in Morrisania, Bronx.
