Omnia Group files plans for 26-unit mixed-use building in LES

Omnia Group, on February 9, filed a permit application for construction of a 26-unit, 49,398-square-foot building at 183 Chrystie Street in Lower East Side, Manhattan. David Paz, the founder and president of Omnia Group, filed the plans.

The developer acquired the property for $19.5 million on December 15, 2021.

There have been four new building plans, including these plans, filed in the Lower East Side in the previous 12 months.

The plans call for the construction of a 94-foot-tall, nine-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00674541. The development site spans two tax lots.

The project is described in the filing as: application filed to erect new nine-story mixed-use building.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have commercial stores and a residential lobby. Floors two through seven will each have three dwelling units per floor, while floors eight and nine will each have four dwelling units. The roof will have recreation space.
