Vornado Realty Trust, on December 15, completed three rehabilitation projects totaling $46.9 million at the office building at 770 Broadway in the East Village.
The first plans, pre-filed on October 24, 2019, call for a rehab of floors 12, 14, and 15 of the 175-foot tall, 15-story building.
The project is described in the filings as: general construction modifications taking place on the 12, 14 and 15th floors as indicated per plans filed here with. No change in use, egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $17,517,188.
Facebook leases 270,000-square-feet in the building, including the entire 15th floor.
The building’s other established tenants include Verizon Media, Yahoo!, Tumblr, and Nielsen, among others.

The second plans, also pre-filed on October 24, 2019, call for a rehab of floors 10 through 15 of the 175-foot tall, 15-story building.

The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $16,500,000.

The final plans, pre-filed on the same day, call for a rehab of the 11th floor of the 175-foot tall, 15-story building.

J. Crew had previously occupied the 11th floor, however the company has since relocated its offices to Brookfield Place, following a buyout.

Related Companies, on December 16, formally completed a $10.6 million rehab of one floor at its office and retail building known as 30 Hudson Yards at 500 West 33rd Street, in Hudson Yards.
The plans, pre-filed on April 4, 2019, call for a rehab of the 62nd floor of the 1,269-foot tall, 68-story building.
M Moser Associates LLC was the architect for the project.
The firm recently completed two build-out projects totaling $33 million at the building.
The project is described in the filings as: filing herewith for removal and construction of interior partitions, ceilings and doors as shown on drawings filed herewith. No change in use, egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $10,644,690.

Silverstein Properties, on December 16, formally completed a $9.1 million rehab of two floors of an office building at 1177 Avenue of the Americas, also known as Americas Tower, in Midtown.
The plans, pre-filed on October 25, 2018, call for a rehab of floors 27 and 28 of the 647-foot tall, 48-story building.
The project is described in the filings as: interior modifications of non load bearing partitions as per plans filed herewith. No change to use, egress, or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $9,125,000.
Last month the firm filed plans for a $4 million rehab of the 12th floor of the building.

Brookfield Properties, on December 16, filed a permit application for a $6.4 million rehab of one floor and the roof of an office building at 1100 Avenue of the Americas in Grand Central.
The plans, pre-filed on December 16, 2020, call for a rehab of the 15th floor, penthouse, and the roof of the 150-foot tall, 15-story building.
The project is described in the filings as: removal and installation of interior nonbearing partitions as per plans filed herewith. No change in use, egress or occupancy under this application. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $6,375,000.
Last month Brookfield filed five plans for $36.6 million worth of rehabs of several floors of the office building.
