NYC files plans for $8.3M rehab of middle school in Forest Hills

NYC School Construction Authority, on July 14, filed a permit application for an $8.3 million rehabilitation of J.H.S. 190 Russell Sage School at 68-17 Austin Street in Forest Hills, Queens.

The plans call for a rehab of basement, roof, and all three floors of the 52-foot tall, 3-story, school building.

The project is described in the filings as: Q190, replace boilers with new self contained control valve and steam trap assembly, electric motorized control valve. New motorized dampers, ddc thermostat, split air conditioning unit. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $8,300,000.
