NYC School Construction Authority files plans for $7M rehab of school in Bushwick

The NYC School Construction Authority, on June 8, filed a permit application for a $6.9 million renovation of Thomas Warren School at 88 Woodbine Street in Bushwick. Roughly 117 students attend the school, ranging from Pre-K through fifth grade.

The plans call for a rehabilitation of the cellar, floors one through four, the roof, and exterior of the 49-foot-tall, four-story school building.

The project is described in the filings as: flood elimination, parapet replacement, exterior masonry, roofing replacement including associated flashing, and interior repairs. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $6,878,747.

The work will be done by CTA Architects P.C. according to the application.
