Franco Sukaj files plans for two 38-unit residential buildings in Bronxdale
Franco Sukaj, on June 8, filed two permit applications for construction of two 38-unit residential buildings in Bronxdale, the Bronx.
The first plan calls for the construction of a 65-foot tall, seven-story, 26,279-square-foot residential building with 38 units at 2423 Barker Avenue.
The project is described in the filings as: construct new apartment building with community facility on the first floor.
The cellar of the proposed building will have a laundry room and parking for 20 bicycles. The ground floor will be split between a residential lobby, ambulatory diagnostic or treatment health care facilities, and a required quality housing recreation room of 1,011-square-feet. Floors two through six will each have seven units while the seventh floor will have three units. The building will also have 12 parking spaces.
The second plan calls for the construction of a 74-foot tall, eight-story, 24,950-square-foot residential building with 38 residential units at 2428 Bronx Park East.
The project is described in the filings as: construct new apartment building.
These plans also indicate that the basement will have a laundry room and parking for 20 bicycles. The ground floor will be split between a residential lobby and two required quality housing recreation rooms, totaling 1,006-square-feet. Floors two through four will each have six units while floors five through eight will each have five units each.
The architect listed on both applications is Badaly Architects PLLC.
Both properties were acquired on November 14, 2017, each for $1.8 million.
Sukaj filed plans in January for an eight-story, 29,615-square-feet residential building at 2270 Bronx Park East in Allerton and for a five-story, 24,423-square-feet mixed-use building at 1353 Purdy Street in Parkchester.
