NYC Health + Hospitals is fully permitted for a $50M rehab of North Central Bronx hospital

NYC Health + Hospitals, on April 30, was given a permit for a $50.2 million renovation of five floors of a hazardous building at 3424 Kossuth Avenue in Riverdale.

The plans call for a renovation of floors 6, 10, and 15-17 of the 403-foot tall, 18-story, building.

The project is described in the filings as: interior renovation on part of 6th and 10th floor and full floors 15-17 as indicated on attached plans. Surge capacity emergency renovation project. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $50,244,614.
