Nuveen Real Estate, on March 10, was given a permit for a $8. million change in use of a 572,520-square-foot office building at 730 Third Avenue in Grand Central.
The plans call for no change in size but a change in use of the 362-foot tall, 28-story, building.
The project is described in the filings as: alt-1 application for change of use and increase in occupancy load on 3rd and 5th floors as indicated on plans filed herewith. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $8,000,000.
