Nuveen finishes $30M build-out at 730 Third Avenue

Nuveen Real Estate, on June 1, formally completed a $30 million build-out of several floors at 730 Third Avenue in Midtown.

The plans, pre-filed on September 25, 2019, call for a build-out of floors four, and six through nine of the 362-foot tall, 28-story building.

The project is described in the filings as: interior tenant build-out on floors four and six through nine for general construction as indicated on plans filed herewith. No change in use, egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $30,000,000.

Nuveen, a subsidiary of the Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association, has been planning to spend over $100 million to renovate the building.

Ted Moudis Associates was the architect.
