Nursing home files plans for $8.3M rehab in Bronx
Methodist Home Nursing and Rehabilitation, on August 31, filed a permit application for an $8.3 million rehabilitation at 4499 Manhattan College Parkway in Fieldston, the Bronx.
The plans call for a rehab of the roof and all five floors of the 124-foot tall, five-story, building.
The project is described in the filings as: interior renovation of floors one through five as per plans filed herewith. No change to use, egress or occupancy The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $8,329,600.
The non-profit nursing home was founded in 1850 and specializes in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care for the elderly.
Spiezle Architectural Group is the architect listed.
