NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital wraps up a $10M project in Lenox Hill

The NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, on November 22, formally completed a $10 million project which installed two steam power driven chillers in a hospital building at 523 East 70th Street in Lenox Hill. The plans were marked as completed over five years after they were filed.

The plans, pre-filed on November 10, 2016, call for work on the cellar and ground floor of the 148-foot tall, 12-story building.

The project is described in the filings as: remove piping and install new equipment including pumps, fans, and piping for the installation of two new steam power driven chillers for the existing hospital. All work as per plans filed herewith only. No change to zoning, use, egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $10,000,000.
