New York-Presbyterian files plans for 132-unit, 192K sf residential building in Washington Heights
New York-Presbyterian Hospital, on April 20, filed a permit application for construction of a 132-unit, 192,921-square-foot residential building at 611 West 169th Street in Washington Heights.
The plans call for the construction of a 135-foot tall, 13-story, residential building.
The project is described in the filings as: construct a new 13-story building containing residential apartments, community facility [for a] not-for-profit institution, with sleeping accommodations, community center, retail stores, and accessory parking.
The plans show that the ground floor will have an eating and drinking establishment, retail stores, lobbies, offices, storage space, and a patio. The second floor will have a family care center, community center, offices and a terrace. The third floor will be made up of dwelling units as well as a fitness room and lounge. Floors four through 13 will have dwelling units.
