The Dormitory Authority of the State of New York, on August 26, filed a permit application for a $4.8 million exterior rehabilitation of a Lehman College campus building, known as Shuster Hall, at 2900 Goulden Avenue in Kingsbridge.

The plans call for a rehab of the ground and facade of the 36-foot tall, three-story, building.

The project is described in the filings as: Lehman College, Shuster Hall exterior renovation and repairs as per the plans filed including removal and replacement of facade conditions, stairs, railing, loading dock, doors and windows. Shuster Hall is used as an academic information and advisement center which provides resources such as financial aid, career resources, registrar office, among other services.

These are the first plans filed at the building since 2018.

Earlier this month, DASNY was given a permit for a $3.9 million rehab of a campus building, known as Shepard Hall, at The City College of New York at 160 Convent Avenue in West Harlem.
