Gemini Rosemont files plans for 100K sf mixed-use building in East Village
Gemini Rosemont Development, on August 24, filed a permit application for construction of an 87-unit, 100,708-square-foot mixed-use building at their recently acquired 42 Second Avenue development site in the East Village. Gemini Rosemont Development is a New York City-based division of Gemini Rosemont Commercial Real Estate.
The plans call for the construction of a 120-foot tall, 11-story, 100,708-square-foot residential building with 87 residential units.
The project is described in the filings as: NB application filed to construct a new 11-story mixed-use building.
According to the plans, the cellar of the building will have storage, office, and parking space. The ground floor will have a lobby, retail space, and residential storage space. The second floor will have office space and eight dwelling units. Floors three through eight will each have 10 dwelling units, the ninth floor will have eight dwelling units, the 10th floor will have seven dwelling units, and the 11th floor will have five dwelling units.
Gemini Rosemont purchased 42-44 Second Avenue and 46-48 Second Avenue for $40 million on March 16, 2020.
