Carpenters union permitted for $3.5M rehab of office building’s roof in West Village
The New York City District Council of Carpenters, on September 15, was given a permit for a $3.5 million rehabilitation of the roof of an office building at 395 Hudson Street in West Village.
The plans, pre-filed on December 20, 2019 by the property manager, call for a rehab of the roof of the 137-foot tall, 10-story, building.
The project is described in the filings as: filing for roof replacement as per plans filed. No change to use, egress or occupancy under this application. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $3,500,000.
The architect listed is Hoffmann Architects.
In May, $3,017,000 plans were filed for an interior renovation of the 10th floor of the building.
