Neighborhood Restore Housing Development Fund Corporation, on February 15, filed a permit application for construction of a 34-unit, 25,785-square-foot residential building at 2017 Grand Concourse in Mount Hope, Bronx.

The plans are one of 10 new building plans filed in the neighborhood in the previous 12 months.

Neighborhood Restore and its affiliate nonprofit entities collaborate with the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development on programs that seek to foster neighborhood stabilization, per their website.

The plans call for the construction of an 89-foot-tall, nine-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00670404. The development site spans one tax lot.

The project is described in the filing as: filing to erect a nine-story residential new building [with] affordable housing.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have an exercise room, lobby, and two dwelling units. Floors two through nine will each have four dwelling units per floor. Eight of the dwelling units will be affordable units for seniors.

The architect listed is Mark E. Ginsberg.
