Chess Builders files plans for 73-unit mixed-use building in Downtown Brooklyn

Cheskel Schwimmer of Chess Builders, on February 16, filed a permit application for construction of a 73-unit, 48,558-square-foot mixed-use building at 131 Concord Street in Downtown Brooklyn, Brooklyn.

There have been eight new building plans, including these plans, filled in the neighborhood in the previous 12 months.

The developer recently filed a permit application for construction of a 218-unit, 147,196-square-foot mixed-use building at 218 Front Street in Vinegar Hill, Brooklyn. The development will have two towers.

The plans call for the construction of a 135-foot-tall, 13-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00664091. The development site spans one tax lot.

The project is described in the filing as: proposed new 13-story and cellar mixed-use building.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have commercial space and a residential lobby. The second floor will have six dwelling units and recreation space. Floors three through seven will each have six dwelling units per floor, floors eight and nine will each have seven dwelling units per floor, floors 10 through 12 will each have six dwelling units per floor, and the 13th floor will have five dwelling units. The cellar will have recreation space.
