Nehalkumar Gandhi files plans for 150-unit hotel and apartment building in Flatbush

Nehalkumar Gandhi under the 1045 Flatbush Avenue LLC, on December 10, filed a permit application for construction of a 150-unit, 59,290-square-foot hotel and apartment at 1045 Flatbush Avenue in Flatbush. The building will have 127 hotel rooms and 23 apartment units.

The plans call for the construction of a 97-foot tall, nine-story hotel and apartment building.

The project is described in the filings as: proposed nine-story mixed-use building.

The cellar will have four hotel rooms, per the plans. The ground floor will have a lobby, health care center, and retail space. The second floor will have 13 hotel rooms, while floors three through seven will each have 22 hotel rooms per floor. The eighth floor will have 12 apartment units, while the ninth floor will have 11 apartment units.

Michael Kang Architect is listed as the architect.

Demolition plans were filed in October 2019 for the two-story building on the property. Those plans were permitted in September.

An estimated completion date has not been announced.

The property was acquired for $8.8 million on July 29, 2019.
