MZS Realty permitted for demo ahead of 33-unit development in Tremont

MZS Realty Corp., on February 1, was given a permit for the demolition of a building at 1821 Prospect Avenue in Tremont. Shaya Seidenfeld, owner of MZS Realty, filed the plans.

The plans, pre-filed on August 18, 2020, call for the demolition of a building.

The project is described in the filings as: demolition of a three-story house.

Last month, on January 5, the developer filed new building plans calling for a 73-foot tall, seven-story, 16,966-square-foot residential building with 33 dwelling units.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have one dwelling unit, floors two through six will each have six dwelling units per floor, while the seventh floor will have two dwelling units. The building will have 11 parking spaces outside of the building.

S&S Architectural Design is listed as the architect.

An estimated completion date has not been announced.

The property was acquired for $985,000 on March 3, 2020.
