Mount Sinai finishes $3.9M single-floor rehab of hospital in Carnegie Hill
Mount Sinai, on March 22, formally completed a $3.9 million rehabilitation of one floor of one of its New York City hospitals, located at 1190 Fifth Avenue in Carnegie Hill.
The plans, pre-filed on July 30, 2020, call for a rehab of the basement of the 175-foot tall, 12-story, hospital.
The project is described in the filings as: Mount Sinai – ed renovations phase 0 – interior renovations including modifications to non-load-bearing partitions, flooring, ceilings, doors, millwork and related construction as per plans filed herewith. No change in use, egress, or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $3,863,000.
Mount Sinai has numerous locations throughout New York City, including 1111 Amsterdam Avenue, One Gustave L. Levy Place, 425 West 59th Street, and First Avenue at 16th Street.
