Vatsal Rathod files plans for 96-key hotel in Flatbush

Vatsal Rathod filed an application for a 96-key, 27,616-square-foot hotel at 2249 Nostrand Avenue in Flatbush, Brooklyn.

The plans call for a 85-foot tall, eight-story hotel and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under number B00485312.

The plans are described in the filing as: proposed eight-story hotel.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have six hotel rooms. Floors two through eight will each have 12 rooms per floor. The cellar will have an additional eight hotel rooms.

A&H Acquisitions was originally planning a six-story, 120,000-square-foot building with 31,000-square-feet of retail space, a doctor’s office, and more than 30,000-square-feet of residential space at the site.

However, the plans were disapproved and the property was sold for $19 million in 2019, according to city records.

Michael Kang Architect is listed as the architect.
