Mount Sinai finishes $3.2M single-floor rehab of hospital building in Carnegie Hill
Mount Sinai, on September 28, formally completed a $3.2 million rehabilitation of one floor of a hospital building at 1450 Madison Avenue in Carnegie Hill.
The plans, pre-filed on July 5, 2018, call for a rehab of the ventilation system in the basement of the 175-foot tall, 14-story, building.
The project is described in the filings as: this application is filed for the modification of the ventilation system at the boiler plant. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $3,200,000.
Vanderweil Engineers was the architect.
The hospital has filed plans only once in 2020, coming on June 24.
