Moses Freund files plans for 73-unit mixed-use building in Morrisania

Moses Freund, on June 30, filed a permit application for construction of a 73-unit, 53,929-square-foot mixed-use building at 1420 Stebbins Avenue in Morrisania, the Bronx.

The plans call for the construction of a 74-foot-tall, seven-story mixed-use building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00541811. The development site spans one tax lot.

The project is described in the filing as: proposed new seven-story, penthouse, and cellar mixed-use building.

According to the plans, the ground floor of the building will have community facility space, retail spaces, a lobby, and five dwelling units. The remaining dwelling units will occupy floors two through seven. The building will have several duplex units and recreation space on the seventh floor.

The architect listed is S. Wieder Architect P.C.

The estimated job cost is $3,366,300.

The developer received a permit for construction of a 23-unit, 16,014-square-foot residential building at 1323 Chisholm Street in Morrisania last fall.

Other recent developments in the neighborhood include plans for a 23-unit, 10,141-square-foot residential building at 689 East 223rd Street.
