Mortar files plans for construction of 29-unit residential building in Astoria
Mortar, on September 28, filed a permit application for construction of a 29-unit, 29,900-square-foot residential building at 11-32 31st Avenue in Astoria. Anthony Morena, principal of Mortar, was the owners representative on the filing.
The plans call for the construction of an 85-foot-tall, eight-story residential building.
The project is described in the filings as: erect new eight-story residential building with a cellar.
The ground floor of the building will have one dwelling unit and a 390-square-foot recreation space, per the plans. Floors two through eight will each have four dwelling units, while the roof will provide a 1,412-square-foot recreation space.
Mortar will handle the architecture for the development in-house.
No demolition plans have been filed at the property.
