Morgan Stanley files plans for $17.6M single-floor rehab in Times Square

Morgan Stanley, on September 28, filed plans for a $17.6 million rehabilitation of one floor of their headquarters building at 1585 Broadway in Times Square, Manhattan.

The developer has filed alteration plans totaling $44.5 million of work at the building so far this year. Earlier this month, the developer filed plans for a $4.3 million project to modify the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system on the third floor.

The plans call for work on the third floor the 485-foot-tall, 46-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00534555.

The project is described in the filing as: Removal and installation of interior non-bearing partitions and related finishes as per plans filed herewith. No change in use, egress or occupancy.

The architect listed is Gensler.
