Monadnock permitted for $6.1M rehab of Washington Heights resi building

Monadnock Development, on January 28, was given a permit for a $6.1 million rehabilitation of a building at 99 Fort Washington Avenue in Washington Heights, in Upper Manhattan.

The plans, pre-filed on August 19, 2020, call for a renovation of the 123-foot tall, seven-story building.

The project is described in the filings as: filed for interior renovation of sub-basement through seventh floor of existing seven-story multiple dwelling: remove/replace non-bearing partitions, ceiling/floor finishes and doors as per plans filed herewith; no change to use, egress or occupancy proposed. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $6,102,000.
