Two Trees permitted for $10M project to convert factory to 332K sf office in Williamsburg
Two Trees Management, on January 28, was given a permit for a $10 million project that aims to convert a factory to a 332,350-square-foot office building at 292 Kent Avenue in Williamsburg. Mark Dwyer of Two Trees filed the plans.
The plans, pre-filed on December 24, 2018, call for the change in the size of the building from a 144-foot tall, 12-story, 383,058-square-foot factory to a 210-foot tall, 14-story, 332,350-square-foot building.
The project is described in the filings as: new building to be constructed within existing free-standing masonry walls. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $10,000,000.
Dencityworks is listed as the architect.
The Landmarks Preservation Commission approved the first portion of the redevelopment in 2014.
