Monadnock files plans for 301-unit mixed-use building in Gowanus
Monadnock Development, on December 8, filed a permit application for construction of a 301-unit, 265,987-square-foot mixed-use building at 155 3rd Street in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Frank Dubinsky, COO at the company, filed the plans.
Earlier this year reports circulated that the developer was planning to construct a 100,000-square-foot, mixed-use development at 300 Huntington Street in the neighborhood. The developer did not immediately respond to a request for comment on either of the plans.
There have now been 21 new building plans filed in the neighborhood this year. Those 21 plans call for the construction of a total of 3,644 dwelling units.
The Monadnock plans call for the construction of a 225-foot-tall, 22-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00640761. The development site spans two tax lots.
