Monadnock files for $10.8M in rehabs to two NYCHA rentals on UWS

Monadnock Development, on October 21, filed a permit application for a $5.5 million rehabilitation of several floors of a New York City Housing Authority building at 133 West 90th Street which is part of Wise Towers in the Upper West Side. This is the third DOB filing at this building so far this year.

The plans call for a rehab of the cellar and floors one through 19 of the 159-foot tall, 19-story, building.

The project is described in the filings as: filed for interior renovation of cellar through 19th floor of existing 19-story multiple dwelling: remove/replace non-bearing partitions, ceiling/floor finishes windows and doors as per plans filed herewith; no change to use, egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $5,454,000.

SLM Architecture will be responsible for the project.

The plans call for a rehab of the cellar and floors one through 19 of the 163-foot tall, 19-story, building.

The project is described in the filings as: filed for interior renovation of cellar through 19th floor of existing 19-story multiple dwelling: remove/replace non-bearing partitions, ceiling/floor finishes windows and doors as per plans filed herewith; no change to use, egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $5,319,000.

SLM Architecture will be responsible for the project.

These are the second plans filed at the property so far this year.
