MKF Group’s property can be occupied following construction of a 32-unit, 23,000-square-foot residential building in Bushwick.

MKF Group, on April 7, was issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for construction of a 32-unit, 23,000-square-foot residential building at 1127 Willoughby Avenue in Bushwick. The developers filed for the TCO in July of 2019.

The plans, pre-filed on May 7, 2015, call for the construction of a 94-foot tall, 9-story, residential building.

The project is described in the filings as: new residential apartment building with community facility.

The parcel was originally occupied by a one-story warehouse, which was purchased in 2015 by Adam Smith of MKF Group for just over $6 million. The warehouse was demolished the same year it was purchased to make way for the newly completed residential building.

Darrin Krumpus of Boro Architects was listed as the architect for the project.
