Mitsui Fudosan finishes $6.3M build-out for Piper Sandler in Midtown West
Mitsui Fudosan, on April 19, formally completed a $6.3 million build-out for tenant Piper Sandler at 1251 Avenue Of The Americas in Midtown West.
The plans, pre-filed on May 6, 2020 by the property manager, Hines, call for work on the 39th floor of the 733-foot tall, 54-story building.
The project is described in the filings as: minor demolition with installation of new partitions, doors, suspended ceilings and finishes on the 39th floor (Piper Sandler) as per plans. No change to use, egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $6,260,757.
HLW International LLP was the architect.
Piper Sandler, an American independent investment bank and financial services company, tacked on additional space to their footprint in the building last year. Per a report, the extension and sublease deals totaled 118,000 square feet of space in the building.
