Mirza Rahman files plans for 64-unit mixed-use building in Bedford Park

Mirza Rahman, on December 2, filed a permit application for construction of a 64-unit, 64,040-square-foot mixed-use building at 19 East 198th Street in Bedford Park, the Bronx.

There have been a total of 12 new building plans filed in Bedford Park so far this year. Ten of the plans, including these plans, called for the construction of residential buildings. The plans combined call for the construction of 570 dwelling units in the neighborhood. The other two plans called for the construction of school buildings.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a lobby and one dwelling unit. Floors two through nine will each have six dwelling units per floor, while floors 10 through 12 will each have five dwelling units per floor. The cellar of the building with have a healthcare facility and an exercise room. The building will have a total of 16 parking spaces.
