Michael Shah files plans to add 2 stories to resi building in Bushwick

Michael Shah of DelShah Capital, on May 20, filed a permit application to enlarge a residential building at 590 Bushwick Avenue in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

Plans call for an enlargement of the residential building. The building is currently 4,524-square-feet and 3-stories high with 5-units.The alteration will bring the building to 7,684-square-feet, and add on 2-stories and 4-units.

The plans are stated as: application herewith filed to enlarge residential zoning floor area by adding a two-story addition on existing three-story building. Existing non-conforming retail zoning floor area to remain. Demolition of non-load bearing partitions, mechanical, electrical and plumbing. Obtain new certificate of occupancy.

The ground floor of the building will go from commercial space to retail floors, per the plans.

The work will be done by John Saracco Architect LLC.
