Meshulem Twersky files plans for two 51-unit residential buildings in Astoria
Meshulem Z. Twersky under the 31-61 Vernon Boulevard LLC, on August 18, filed two permit applications for construction of two 51-unit residential buildings in Astoria.
The first plans call for the construction of an 84-foot tall, eight-story, 34,095-square-foot residential building with 51 residential units at 31-61 Vernon Blvd in Astoria.
The project is described in the filings as: proposed new eight-story residential building.
Per the plans, the ground floor will have three dwelling units, floors two through seven will each have seven dwelling units, and the eighth floor will have six dwelling units. The ground floor will also have a laundry room, as well as an indoor and outdoor recreation space.

The second plans call for the construction of an 84-foot tall, eight-story, 31,285-square-foot residential building with 51 residential units at 11-24 31st Drive in Astoria.
The project is described in the filings as: proposed new eight-story residential building.
The ground floor of the proposed building will have two dwelling units, a mail room, a laundry room, and 1,157-square-feet of recreation space, according to the plans. Floors two through eight will each have seven units.
The architect for both buildings will be S. Wieder Architect P.C.
An estimated completion date has not been announced for either building.
