Meryl Piade receives TCO for 44K sf mixed-use building in Bushwick

Meryl Piade through the company 1797 Realty Associates, LLC, on November 13, was issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for construction of a 41-unit, 44,550-square-foot mixed-use building at 1801 Broadway in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

The plans, pre-filed on May 4, 2017, call for the construction of a 74-foot tall, 7-story mixed-use building. The time from pre-file to TCO was three years and six months.

The project is described in the filings as: proposing seven-story and cellar mixed-use building, general retail, community facility and 41 dwelling units.

The cellar of the building has parking for 21 cars, according to the plans. The basement has a community facility lobby, storage space, and retail space. The ground floor has a day care and community facility space. Floors two through four each have nine dwelling units per floor, the fifth floor has eight dwelling units, while the sixth floor has six dwelling units, a laundry room, and recreation room. The roof has additional recreation space.

J Frankl C. Mallea Associates Architects & Engineers was the architect.

The property was acquired in December of 2003 for $780,000.
