Mendel Reiner of Renewal, on May 14, filed a permit application for $568,800 to convert two floors from light manufacturing and residential space to commercial office space at 4721 New Utrecht Avenue in Brooklyn.
The plans call for a change of use and an enlargement of the 3,591-square-feet building.
The plans state: application is filed for the renovation and change in use from light manufacturing and residential to commercial office at the first and second floor. Conjunctively filed for horizontal enlargement at the rear.
The plans call for the ground floor of the building to go from light manufacturing to offices, an event planning room, a conference room, and a reception area. The second floor will be converted from residential space to offices and a board room.
