Mega Realty files plans for 69K sf mixed-use building in Astoria

Mega Realty Holding, on July 10, filed a permit application for construction of a 35-unit, 69,247-square-foot mixed-use building at 22-60 46th Street in Astoria.

The plans call for the construction of an 84-foot tall, eight-story, mixed-use building. Hercules Argyriou was the ownership representative for the project.

The project is described in the filings as: construct new eight-story building per plans filed herewith.

The ground floor of the building will have a fitness room, sauna, locker rooms, playroom, lobby, storage, and outdoor recreation area. The second floor will have four dwelling units, a lounge, library, and recreation space. Floors three through five will each have six dwelling units, the sixth floor will have five dwelling units, and floors seven and eight will have four dwelling units each.

The architect is listed as Dattner Architects.

The plans have been in the works for over a year now, when reports indicated Mega Realty Holding and the Pancyprian Association were working in partnership to develop a new mixed-use building on the site.

Demolition plans have not yet been filed.
