Matrix finishes $7.3M rehab of Staten Island warehouse
Matrix Development Group, on January 4, formally completed a $7.3 million rehabilitation of a storage building at 566 Gulf Avenue in Staten Island.
The plans, pre-filed on March 23, 2020, call for a rehab of the 46-foot tall, one-story building.
The project is described in the filings as: see section #24. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $7,300,000.
The warehouse is pat of a four-building assemblage named the Matrix Global Logistics Park which totals around 3.5 million square feet and spans hundreds of acres.
566 Gulf Avenue, along with the three other buildings in the complex, located at 586 Gulf Avenue, 546 Gulf Avenue, and 526 Gulf Avenue, have all received TCOs.
IKEA and E-commerce giant Amazon have leases in the complex.
