Brookfield Properties finishes $6.8M multi-floor rehab of One Manhattan West

Brookfield Properties, on January 4, formally completed a $6.8 million rehabilitation of two floors of an office building at 400 West 33rd Street, commonly referred to as One Manhattan West, in Hudson Yards.

The plans, pre-filed on April 29, 2020, call for a rehab of floors 57 and 58 of the 998-foot tall, 69-story building.

The project is described in the filings as: general construction modifications taking place on the 57 and 58 floors as per plans filed herewith. No change in use, egress or occupancy The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $6,820,000.

Gensler was responsible for the work.

The NHL signed a 20 year lease for 160,000-square-feet of office space and 15,000-square-feet of retail space in 2016.

Brookfield completed a $32.7 million build-out of space leased by the NHL.

Recent reports indicated the building was 90 percent leased, with other tenants including the law firm Skadden, Arps.
