Marsh & McLennan file plans for a $10M multi-floor rehab at 1166 Avenue of the Americas
Plans were filed for a $10 million rehabilitation of several floors owned by Marsh & McLennan at 1166 Avenue of the Americas in Grand Central.
Owners with major stakes in the tower include RXR Realty, Edward J. Minskoff Equities, and Marsh & McLennan. The floors being worked on are owned by the Marsh & McLennan entities, which own floors 22 to 44.
The plans call for a rehab of floors 41 to 43 of the building, and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under number M00511578.
The project is described in the filings as: minor demolition with installation of new partitions, doors, suspended ceilings and finishes on the 41st, 42nd and 43rd floors (MMC) as per plans. No change to use, egress or occupancy.
Gensler is listed as the architect.
The floors are occupied by Marsh & McLennan Companies, as part of their world headquarters.
