Marsh & McLennan approved for new use on two floors at 1166 Sixth Avenue
Marsh & McLennan Companies, on April 6, was issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for a $1.2 million change in use of floors 39 and 40 at 1166 Avenue Of The Americas.
The plans, pre-filed on April 18, 2019, call for no change in size but a change in use of the two floors in the 573-foot tall, 44-story, 1,204,839-square-foot building.
The project is described in the filings as: creation of public assembly meeting rooms on 39th and 40th floors, accessory to offices.
The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $1,159,750.
The floors are occupied by Marsh & McLennan Companies, as part of their world headquarters.
