Margaret Ling files plans for 154-key hotel in Flushing

Margaret Ling through the company 40th Road Realty Group LLC, on February 1, filed a permit application for construction of a 154-key, 46,055-square-foot hotel at 131-28 40th Road in Flushing, Queens.

The plans, pre-filed on February 1, 2021, call for the construction of a 123-foot tall, 12-story, 46,055-square-foot hotel building with 154 rooms.

The project is described in the filings as: hereby filing for a new 12-story hotel building.

The ground floor of the building will have a lobby, community facility, bar, and lounge, according to the plans. Floors two through four will each have 28 rooms per floor, floors five through eight will each have 13 rooms per floor, the ninth floor will have four rooms, and floors 10 through 12 will each have five rooms per floor. The fifth floor will also have a residential terrace. The building’s cellar will have a kitchen, break room, exercise room, and an office. The building will also have parking for 27 cars.

The parcel has been vacant since 2000, when the demolition of a two-story structure was completed.
