Makhan Sandhu files plans for 120-key hotel in Jamaica

Makhan Sandhu through the company 94th Avenue Hospitality LLC, on November 11, filed a permit application for construction of a 120-key, 38,010-square-foot hotel at 143-10 94th Avenue in Jamaica, Queens.

The plans call for the construction of a 95-foot tall, nine-story hotel.

The project is described in the filings as: this application is filed for new nine-story transient hotel and community facility building.

The hotel’s cellar, per the plans, will have laundry facilities, a breakfast area, and exercise room. The ground floor will have a reception area, hotel lobby, storage space, and an ambulatory diagnostic facility. Floors two through nine will each have 15 hotel rooms per floor.

MS Savani Architects PC is the architect named.

No demolition plans have been filed at the property.
