Citigroup finishes $8.9M single-floor rehab of HQ building in Tribeca

Citigroup, on November 12, formally completed an $8.9 million rehabilitation of one floor at 388 Greenwich Street in Tribeca. The building is the larger of the two-tower campus at 388-390 Greenwich Street where Citigroup is headquartered.

The plans, pre-filed on October 5, 2016, call for a rehab. of the 14th floor of the 496-foot tall, 39-story, building.

The project is described in the filings as: installation of interior non-load bearing partitions, replacement of existing ceiling. Painting/related floor finishes and flooring as per plans filed herewith. No change in use, egress or occupancy under this application. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $8,876,326.00.

Gensler was in charge of the rehab.

Citigroup has recently finished a string of rehabs at their headquarters. On November 5, the firm wrapped up a $27.5 million project to rehab floors two through four of 388 Greenwich street. The prior month the finished a $9.1 million rehab of the basement, roof, and one floor at 390 Greenwich Street, the smaller of the two buildings
