Lazar Waldman of LW Developers, on October 28, filed a permit application for construction of a five-unit, 21,733-square-foot residential building at 297 Wallabout Street in East Williamsburg.
The plans call for the construction of a 79-foot tall, seven-story residential building. The average size per apartment is 4,346 square feet.
The project is described in the filings as: seven-story, five-family building.
The cellar of the building will have storage space and a ritual bath, according to the project’s plans. The ground floor will have a lobby, parking for five cars, and the lower part of a duplex apartment, the upper half of which will be located on the second floor. Floors three through five will each have one dwelling unit per floor. The sixth and seventh floors will have the lower and upper parts of one duplex unit.
Jongmin Kim Architects will be in charge of the design.
The property was acquired for $4.5 million on May 9, 2019.
Demolition plans were pre-filed in 2016 but never permitted.
