AJ Kurland files plans for 55-unit resi building in Tremont

AJ Kurland through the company Hope Place LLC, on October 27, filed a permit application for construction of a 55-unit, 31,429-square-foot residential building at 21 Mount Hope Place in Tremont, the Bronx.

The plans call for the construction of an 85-foot tall, nine-story residential building.

The project is described in the filings as: herewith filing for new residential building with 55 apartments.

The cellar of the building will have four dwelling units and a laundry room, according to the plans filed. The basement will also have four dwelling units, while floors one through seven will each have six dwelling units per floor. The eighth floor will have three dwelling units and an outdoor recreation space. The project’s Schedule A does not reference a ninth floor.

Tom Winter Architects PC will be the architect.

No demolition plans have been filed yet.

An estimated completion date has not been announced.
